What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Supervision and coordination of sterile processing team
• Oversees and supports daily operations related to the reprocessing of reusable medical supplies
• Communicates in a professional manner with hospital staff and company employees
• Coordinates repair and replacement of broken instrumentation and equipment
• Maintains a professional relationship with all facility departments
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of three years Sterile Processing Department experience
• Active certification in sterile processing/central sterile via CBSPD or IAHCSMM
• Strong computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel
• Ability to work daily in a fast-paced, high-pressure Healthcare Services environment
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Associate’s degree from an accredited two-year college or technical school preferred
• Experience with an instrument tracking system
• Ability to act as a resource for staff in both SPD and OR
• Ability to train in all procedures regarding SPD responsibilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
