Are you an established QA Engineer looking for your next challenge? Our Education Services team are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join and be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through both manual and automated testing techniques.


The Role

The role as QA engineer requires someone who will hold proficiency in Selenium for automation testing and keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities include:

Manual Testing:

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements and user stories.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using a Azure Dev Ops.
  • Validate bug fixes and perform follow-up testing.
  • Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and other activities to ensure test coverage.

Automation Testing:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium.
  • Integrate automated tests with Azure CI/CD pipelines.
  • Execute automated test suites and analyse results to identify software failures.
  • Maintain and update test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Create and manage automation reports and metrics.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and user stories.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
  • Communicate testing progress, results, and issues effectively to the team and management.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to the testing process and methodologies.



What can I bring to the role?

It goes without saying that you will be passionate about testing software and striving to deliver a quality product that will delight our customers. Some of the skills and experience required include:

  • Proven experience or proficiency with Selenium and other test automation tools
  • Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Azure Dev Ops).
  • Proficient in C# programming languages .
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Azure CI/CD tools and processes.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
