Position Description

Softdocs is currently seeking an intern to join our Marketing team. This paid internship will work to support Softdocs’ community of prospective Higher Education, K-12, and State & Local Government clients.

Responsibilities

Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to:

General Marketing Support

  • Analyze data patterns (e.g., Zoom webinar registration buyer intent response = X) and execute corresponding actions (e.g., match contact to account, generate timing campaign sequences).
  • Aid in cleansing pre/post lists for conferences, campaigns, etc.
  • Assist with distribution list creation for webinars and uploading them into Pardot.
  • Collaborate with Campaign & Content Manager to develop campaigns for tradeshows, happy hours, webinars, etc.
  • Support campaign efforts in Salesforce for data and member accuracy
  • Support efforts to maintain graphics library in Pardot.
  • Researching higher education and K-12 demographic data like student population, addresses, and institution type
  • Working with our sales team on specific outreach initiatives and searching for data specific to their needs
  • Hunting for contacts based on personas on institution webpages, directories, and LinkedIn

Tradeshows and Events Support

  • Create calendar holds for attendees for exhibiting hours, speaking sessions, and happy hours
  • Order swag and collateral shipments for events
  • Maintain inventory quantities on swag site, ensuring adequate stock levels, tracking proofs, order approvals, etc.
  • Coordinate events calendar with social media postings; assign tasks to ensure pre or post-event social posts for each event.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining verticalized rotating decks for each event; adapt specialty slides and distribute decks accordingly (ensure correct deck is used in booth).
  • Assist with tracking, developing, and submitting session submissions for upcoming events.
  • Follow up on session completion for each event.

Website Support

  • Assist in adding events to the website
  • Monitor social engagement across all platforms

Internship Outcomes

  • Contribute to employer branding, website, campaigns, and tradeshows
  • Learn Salesforce Lightening, Pardot/Engagement Studio, Outreach.io, and ZoomInfo
  • Gain understanding of sales funnel and marketing lead generation
  • Achieve an understanding for how a SaaS software company works

Requirements

  • Applicants must be sophomores, juniors, or seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA, extremely strong communication skills (verbal + written), willingness to go the extra mile and a desire to help grow the business and learn at the same time. Applicants who seek to use this internship for school credit, is possible.
