We’re looking for a Finance Operations Administrator to help us run a slick, efficient support function that enables our sales and customer service teams to provide great service to customers. You will be a key link between the central Finance team and the local Commercial, Operational and Sales departments.

We need someone that has a great eye for detail and a positive attitude.

What You'll Do...

  • Daily review of bank receipts and payments
  • Post bank receipts against the relevant customer’s Sales Ledger account
  • Post payments to the relevant supplier’s Purchase Ledger account
  • Own funder balance sheet reconciliations, allocate funder rental payments monthly to our Purchase Ledger to ensure they match expectations and resolve variances
  • Allocate vehicle purchases costs from the bank to the Purchase Ledger account
  • Help with inbound messages from our customers regarding anything from invoices and payment queries to questions about sick leave and drivers handing cars back; you will be responding to, resolving or reassigning messages as appropriate
  • Help with internal FinOps queries, helping to answer invoice, payment and lease termination related questions from colleagues, amongst many others within SLAs
  • Process sensitive information, including bank account details, with the utmost care and due diligence
  • Help prepare for funder audits, including collating back up documentation
  • Be prepared to help out across the whole of the FinOps team during busy periods - this could be anything from processing invoices to terminating contracts and everything in between. We work as a flexible team in a fast-paced environment and working together ensures everyone is a valued member


What You'll Need...

  • Strong passion for numbers with proficiency in maths and ability to analyse numerical data
  • Excel/G-Suite working knowledge and experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail, some parts will be repetitive but accuracy is extremely important
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude with confidence in your own abilities
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines
