To strengthen our motivated CAPEX & Operational Technology Team at our headquarters in Vienna, we are looking for a passionate Senior CAPEX Project Manager (m/f/d) as a central function.

Your Role

• You start as the deputy head of MMB&P CAPEX project management and, after an induction phase, you will take over the management and further expand the central team
• You lead the next steps to develop the CAPEX project management at MMB&P even further, and act as a support function for the locations
• You support the locations of the MM Board & Paper Division in strategic development and alignment together with the division- and location management, which will result in the annual CAPEX budget planning for the Board & Paper Division
• You are responsible for monitoring the budget discipline to adhere to the approved annual Capex budget and ongoing reporting to division management
• You support the locations in the CAPEX project development up to the point of CAPEX project approval and provide support with project management and engineering skills in the implementation phase of large project-investments
• You have responsibilities for overseeing and analyzing the bid comparison and associated supplier selections to ensure a quality process is in place for our sites
• You ensure the monthly divisional reporting of large project-investments (together with the local project management) with regard to costs, project schedules and project goals, as well as the initiation of necessary corrective measures
  
  
  

Your Profile

• You have a degree from a technical college or completed technical studies (e.g. process engineering, mechanical engineering, plant engineering, automation technology)
• You have several years of relevant professional experience in the management of major projects as a senior manager, preferably in an international manufacturing company in the board-, paper- and pulp industry
• You have experience and empathy in personnel management and personnel development as well as setting up and expanding an existing department
• You have very good MS Office user skills and experience with project management tools
• You have a structured way of working with focus for the essentials in the role of the central support function, as well as the willingness to share knowledge
• You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English (C-Level), German; any other foreign language skills are desired
• You have the willingness to travel internationally (30%-50%, focus on Europe)
