Your New Role:

As a Simulation and Training Equipment Engineer at Hanwha Defense Australia, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of simulation and training equipment for our defence systems. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that our simulation and training solutions meet the highest standards of effectiveness and reliability.



Primary Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to define training objectives and requirements.
  • Conduct requirements analysis and systems engineering activities to ensure that simulation and training solutions meet customer needs and specifications.
  • Develop simulation models and scenarios to support training exercises and mission rehearsals.
  • Integrate simulation and training equipment into overall system architecture, ensuring compatibility and interoperability with other system components.
  • Conduct testing and validation activities to verify the performance and effectiveness of simulation and training solutions.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on the operation and maintenance of simulation and training equipment.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in simulation and training to inform the development of future solutions.


About You:

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

  • A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the development and implementation of simulation and training equipment, preferably in the defence or aerospace industry.
  • Strong knowledge of simulation software and tools.
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles and training methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Eligibility:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security clearance (must be an Australian Citizen). Eligibility criteria can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva
