This new opportunity for the role of Technical Consultant at Ostratto will offer the successful candidate an exciting experience at the cutting-edge of technology in business.
Being a remote-based role, the successful candidate will be working in a technical team, gaining valuable skills in communication, organisation and research. The role will include tasks such as:
- Researching and identifying solutions to software and hardware issues for our clients
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues (cloud-based software, communication tools, websites and databases, networks, security products, computer equipment, operating systems etc)
- Communicate with clients via either telephone or our support desk system within defined SLA's
- Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customer questions and issues by referring to our internal database or external resources to provide accurate technical solutions
- Prioritise and manage multiple support tickets at one time and follow up with clients to ensure their systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
- Assist the Sales team with technical queries and draft designs of potential new client implementations
- Build and deploy new client systems and complex platforms as required
- Researching and testing new solutions to add to our portfolio
- Properly escalate unresolved issues, where appropriate, to relevant internal teams
The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to learn many aspects of a business such as customer service, sales and finance.
Requirements By the nature of the work being completed, it is absolutely recommended that the candidate holds an interest in technology/computing and a basic ability to use it, with a preference to those that have demonstrable experience in the field.
The successful candidate will be able to showcase skills such as communication, problem-solving, accuracy, telephone etiquette, and reliability. A high level of organisation is expected for the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will have a keen willingness to develop their skills as well as learn new ones. Courses will be provided to cover certain technical knowledge if this is required - so an openness to completing these courses is essential for the candidate to be successful in this role.

- Knowledge of: Email, CRM, VOIP, Anti-virus, DNS, Client/server OS-based knowledge
- Awareness of: our products as outlined here
- Experience in using Google Workspace and Zoho products
