Our mission focuses on improving the lives of children, adults, and families affected by mental health and substance use disorders. Rehabilitation Specialists are expected to implement the Recovery Model in all interactions with members. This approach emphasizes hope, autonomy, peer support, respect, empathy, non-stigmatizing language, empowerment, leveraging members' strengths, and fostering self-determination.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

•Understanding of recovery-oriented mental health approaches

•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to support individuals of diverse backgrounds

•Crisis intervention and problem-solving skills

•Fluency in ASL (required for the Deaf Program)
