- Monitor tool inventory and the condition and maintenance of the shop to ensure adequate and safe working conditions
- Conduct and arrange for employee training in safety, repair, maintenance techniques, and operational procedures or equipment
- Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
- Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations regarding the service department
- Two years of experience in an auto repair facility or educational equivalent required
- Proficient with computer skills
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to operate a department at a profit according to dealership guidelines
