Our Medical Receptionist will accommodate patients with a warm greeting, perform patient transactions, assist with patient requests for services and related inquiries, and operate necessary front office equipment to ensure high-quality patient relations.
Essential Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls, assist patients, and manage communication between staff while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments, check-ups, and referrals.
Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with necessary forms and documentation.
Greet and check in visitors, determine their needs, and guide them to the appropriate staff.
Maintain and update medical records, charts, and correspondence.
Education:
· High School Diploma is required
· Two years of medical administrative experience required
· Medical Office experience preferred
· EMR experience preferred
