The Office Manager ensures daily operations by maintaining and supporting office services, organizing office operations and procedures, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions. The Office Manager participates in the preparation and maintenance of budgets, serves as liaison with medical staff and other personnel, participates in strategic planning, both long and short term, and assures patient advocacy.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Supervises assigned employees, including responsibility for determining qualifications, hiring, maintaining and improving competence, assigning work, coaching, training (e.g., orientation, in-service and continuing education), evaluating performance, compensation, discipline and terminating employment.
Manages the effective utilization of human resources and supplies within the assigned area, including the development of appropriate staffing and management of productivity.
Ensures compliance with state and federal laws, accreditation, professional and regulatory agency standards and licensure requirements. Maintains staff compliance with medical center policies, procedures and protocols.
Assumes fiscal responsibility for the assigned area including budget preparation, labor and supply cost management, and revenue enhancement.
Develops business and operations plans for assigned area and specific programs and services within it.
Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services.

Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
Minimum of a High School diploma
Experience and Skillset:
5 Years of Proven leadership or managerial experience in office management required (healthcare operations preferred)
