Job Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Job Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber BDD.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA analysts in an Agile environment to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Develop and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend systems.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Bitbucket.
Perform SQL queries and validate data across Oracle and other relational databases.
Work with mainframe systems to validate end-to-end workflows in legacy banking platforms.
Participate in code reviews, test case reviews, and contribute to test strategy and planning.
Log and track defects using JIRA, and ensure timely resolution.
Mentor junior SDETs and contribute to best practices in test automation and quality engineering.
Required Skills
4+ years of experience in test automation and software quality engineering.
Strong programming skills in Java; experience with Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEs.
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber BDD, and TestNG/JUnit.
Proficient in GitLab, Bitbucket, and version control best practices.
Solid understanding of SQL, Oracle DB, and data validation techniques.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Exposure to mainframe systems and legacy application testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
