The ideal candidate will have extensive (6+ years) experience and the following:49 CFR 192 compliance and interpretation; the ability to concisely articulate how the regulations affect an organization's operations in communications with leadership, as well as have experience leading State and Federal agency audits. This candidate should also have experience with supervising or managing team members as it relates to regulatory and operational procedure duties.

Primary Duties
1. Supervise and mentor QA specialists, providing guidance, training and development.
2. Implement and maintain enterprise-wide QA strategies, protocols, and metrics.
3. Ensure alignment of QA activities with pipeline safety, occupational safety, environmental compliance, and other critical operational areas.
4. Oversee assessments performed on procedures, processes, and records to assess sufficiency and effectiveness.
5. Lead enterprise risk assessments as assigned to measure the effectiveness, repeatability and sustainability of critical controls.
6. Facilitate and manage panel discussions and interviews with internal stakeholders.
7. Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership through detailed reports and presentations.
8. Drive the development and monitoring of Continuous Improvement Plans (CIPs).
9. Collaborate with Operations and other departments to implement process enhancements and corrective actions.
10. Ensure accurate collection, tracking, and analysis of QA data.
11. Maintain documentation of risks, controls, and improvement initiatives in accordance with QA protocols.
12. Partner with departments across the organization to ensure timely completion of assessments and audits.
13. Promote a culture of quality and compliance through training and awareness initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
Educational/Experience Level:
Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field and 6 years job-related experience; or equivalent.
Communication Skills:
Requires the ability to communicate, persuade and/or influence internal and/or external customers at a high level such as senior management on matters of a technical and/or complex nature.
Numeric Skills:
Requires the ability to perform algebraic, trigonometric, and geometric operations and/or moderately complex statistical and/or accounting methods.
Computer Skills:
Requires an advanced knowledge of various software applications for creating complex documents, reports, and graphics.
Physical Demands:
Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.
Work Conditions:
Works in an office environment.
