Introduction
The Sponsor requires support in operating and maintaining an AWS hosted software application and underlying databases. This support includes bug fixes of the current application and evolving / enhancing the application commensurate with user feedback, Contractor-provided recommendations, and the Sponsor's strategic growth. This support includes ensuring compliance with all IT / security / other applicable policies, advising the Sponsor on risk mitigation to ensure future policy compliance, and adherence to a Contractor-recommended and Sponsor-approved Configuration Management processes.
Work Requirements
Contractor Support; HRR; No
Contractor shall provide operations and maintenance support for Sponsor system, to include underlying databases and cloud infrastructure.
Contractor shall resolve bugs, implement enhancements to improve the user interface/experience, and evolve the system in accordance with the Sponsor’s mission and new data sources.
Contractor shall develop and implement both an immediate “hotfix” and a longer-term release cycle that allows for both critical and incremental changes.
Contractor shall perform continuous monitoring (during regular business hours) of system functionality and data ingestion.
Contractor shall maintain an Interface Control Document describing the standards and allowable schema(s) for new data sets to be ingested into the system.
Contractor shall ensure the System retains accreditation and is compliant with Sponsor security directives and regulations and consistent with ICD 503, FISMA, and all other legal and technical compliance activities.
Contractor shall maintain compliance with all monitoring systems required for enterprise applications, including CloudWatch, Splunk and others as required by the Sponsor.
Contractor shall maintain Non-Person Entity PKI certs for the System, and update certs as required. Contractor shall identify, evaluate, propose, and implement, with Sponsor approval, interfaces where the System may enrich other current and future Sponsor constructs (databases, applications, networks).
Contractor shall propose and implement, with Sponsor approval, an Engineering Change Management process that enables evaluating, prioritizing, resourcing, deconflicting, testing, and implementing changes to the architecture or processes.
Contractor shall propose and implement, with Sponsor approval, a Knowledge Management process and environment which documents and archives architectures, processes, schedules, or other artifacts as required, using MS Office file formats.
Contractor shall propose and implement, with Sponsor approval, a Configuration Management process which develops, publishes, and updates architecture baselines and changes to the System, formally delivered in MS Office file formats.
Contractor shall propose and implement, with Sponsor approval, a feedback process which surveys the user community on recommendations on System enhancements or defect resolution.
Contractor shall maintain user guides and training materials for the System, and provide both formal and ad hoc informal training sessions.
Contractor shall propose and implement, with Sponsor approval, an issue and risk management workflow that identifies programmatic or technical matters of concern
