Description
Position Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to serve the ministry through proper cash handling, payment processing, and customer service at all Conferences and Events.
Essential Duties:
- Reflect the heart of Andrew Wommack and Senior Leadership to all guests through personality and customer service skills.
- Receive cash, check, or credit card payments for product sales at conferences and events.
- Adhere to strict cash handling procedures as set by the CFO.
- Make change and produce receipts for signature and clientele.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) equipment.
- Be responsible for POS equipment.
- Set up and tear down POS equipment and check out the area.
- Assist with the setup of resources.
- Attend meetings in the office as needed.
- Oversee volunteers (ETMs) as required.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good verbal and written communication skills – MUST be friendly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to effectively operate a Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to operate POS equipment, including an Android tablet.
- Must be able to take and follow directions effectively.
- Strong team player.
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
- Ability to work 15-hour shifts for the entire event (breaks included).
- Ability to accurately make change using cash.
Requirements:
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Must sign the Statement of Faith.
- A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
- A Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer service-oriented.
- Must pass all required checks.
Experience:
- Cash Handling experienced preferred - cashier experience preferred.
- Other experience in hospitality/Customer Service roles is preferred.
- Minimum 6 months of customer service experience required. Volunteer experience in hospitality or other customer service roles may also qualify.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience.
