The OOSC exclusively works with Des Moines Orthopaedic Surgeons, P.C. (DMOS) surgeons. DMOS is the longest thriving private orthopaedic practice in the central Iowa area. Here’s What You Can Expect
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing an orthopaedic surgery procedure.
- Maintaining a safe and sterile environment in the operating room and including before and after surgery. Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the operating room
- A fast-paced, specialized environment of supporting patient care by collaborating with the provider team of Physicians and Physician Assistants, anesthesiologists to ensure seamless patient care
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience working in a surgery center assisting with orthopaedic cases
- Ability to work independently and within a team to ensure patients receive appropriate care based on their needs in a thorough and safe environment
- Active RN License to practice in the state of Iowa; active BLS; ACLS and PALS preferred, yet not required
