We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Long-Term Care Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead our nursing team and ensure the highest standard of care for our residents. As a Nurse Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating care, mentoring staff, and upholding compliance and quality standards. Your leadership will directly impact the well-being and dignity of those we serve.
Shift: 9am – 5pm OR 10am 6pm – Weekends Only
Pay: $45hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs); manage scheduling, training, and performance evaluations; provide on-call support.
- Clinical Oversight: Monitor resident care and health plans; review documentation, admissions, and Medicare charting; coordinate with medical providers; ensure proper medication and treatment administration.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulations; maintain accurate EHR assessments and records; support audits and inspections.
- Resident & Family Relations: Communicate with residents and families; address concerns; lead care plan meetings and promote resident-centered care.
- Incident Response: Handle emergencies; conduct investigations and reports; implement follow-up actions as needed.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN).
- Active RN license in Illinois.
- 2–5+ years in long-term care nursing, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and care planning.
