Duties

Maintain central control registers over the issuance of funds.,Provide advice to project office staff on long-range project objectives.,Develops financial analyses for Production Support Orders.,Reviews interrelated program dependencies to identify risks.,Implements policies that guide program execution.,Execute program controls for a number of funded budget lines.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that includes: 1) Managing program operations by directing resources; 2) Delivering briefings to communicate program status; 3) Conducting budget analyses to ensure compliance with policies; and 4) Adjusting program plans to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Direct Deposit of Pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees. This is a(n) Comptroller Career Field position Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement. Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest. Position may be filled as a term NTE 5 years. Term appointments may be extended beyond six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years. Current permanent federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a term appointment will be appointed/converted into a term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.
