What the job looks like
Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
- Execute purchasing assigned activities such as: Quality-check on PR , Purchase Order Generation, Purchase Order Monitoring , Tracking of Goods & Services, Preferred Vendors Administration;
- Execute Vendor Creation & Maintenance activities;
- Ensure all requests are processed in adherence to Procurement Policies and standards SLAs;
- Provide Stakeholder & Key User Services such as: Service Desk, End User Training & Support;
- Ensure standard routines are updated;
- Provide Vendor support & training towards Procurement Process Creation & Maintenance of info records;
- Managing specific sourcing activities for Tail Spend;
- Participate in the monitoring of SLAs and KPIS and ensure appropriate actions/plans to correct deviations;
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives , standardization & automation of processes;
- Ensure close relation and interaction with Global Procurement Organization, Finance & MD Teams & Stakeholders at global level.
What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- Relevant practical experience with at least 1 year in a comparable role in Procurement, Master Data or similar areas - ideally, knowledge of SAP MM PUR - Purchasing Module;
- General understanding of Procurement & Purchasing;
- Optional: Experience in cross-functional projects;
- Desired negotiation skills, general knowledge about Lean Six Sigma´s DMAIC methodology;
- Advance level of English & Portuguese (Required);
- Additional languages like German, Spanish , Italian are desired;
- SAP-MM experience;
- Critical Thinking;
- Customer orientation;
- Continuous improvement mindset;
- Teamwork.
