Hybrid 5th Grade Math Teacher at Chichester School District

Chichester School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 5th Grade Math Teacher to become part of our dynamic team. This is a full-time position focused on fostering mathematical understanding and a love of learning in a supportive, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging math instruction tailored to 5th-grade learners.
• Utilize diverse teaching methods including hands-on activities, technology, and cooperative learning.
• Regularly assess and respond to student progress with constructive feedback and lesson adjustments.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom culture that promotes academic and personal growth.
• Maintain open communication with students, families, and staff regarding student achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and engage in ongoing professional development.
• Keep accurate records of student performance and participate in school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or related field.
• PA Instructional Certificate (Middle School Math 4–8 or Math 7–12).
• Preferred experience: teaching middle school math (especially 5th grade).
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and differentiation skills.
• A passion for helping students grow and succeed in mathematics.
