We are seeking an experienced Loan Documentation Lead to join the Loan Administration team in St. Louis Park. Reporting to the SVP of Loan Administration, the Loan Documentation Lead performs a variety of functions associated with the origination of new loans.  This position ensures accurate preparation of loan documentation, maintains updates in the loan documentation system as well as timely delivery of documents to lending staff.  This position will ensure that loan documentation is accurate and in compliance with laws and regulations. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Prepare, review and process documentation and booking of commercial loans (CRE Multi-family, C&I, Construction development) to ensure terms of documents are in accordance with committee approved request and following bank policy, lending practices and regulatory statutes. May include communication with outside counsel related to document preparation and other due diligence.
  • Distributes and Reviews work of staff for internally prepared documentation ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to Lending staff.
  • Assist Director of Loan Documentation-Booking in training of staff members for document preparation and Booking.
  • Administrator of internal documentation system updates and ongoing system maintenance such as updating rates and regulatory information.
  • Preparation of Participation Agreements and Letter of Credit documentation, renewals, and modifications.
  • Oversees SBA Express loan processing and documentation.
  • Responsible for management and development of Loan Documentation Specialists by conducting annual performance reviews and quarterly 5-5-5’s.
  • Accountable for identifying training needs and assist with career development.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-7 years of Commercial and Consumer loan processing and/or documentation experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and knowledge of rules, regulations and policies relating to loan documentation
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The typical compensation for this role is $72,700 – $86,500. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
