Job Summary
The Lawndale Elementary School District is looking for a Senior Clerk Typist to support the SELPA Infant Center and LEAP located at Kit Carson. This position is a full-time, 11-month, 8 hour/day position, that accumulates one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment. In addition, LESD pays 100% for employee health/welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc). Dependents are at a costs to the employee. Requirements / Qualifications
Carson Elementary School
Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4:00PM (8 hours per day - benefit eligible)
(subject to change).
Minimum Requirements:
*High School Diploma or GED or higher degree
*Resume
*Typing certificate verifying a Net typing score of 45 wpm or better dated within 12-months. Online typing tests will be accepted. Test certificate must be 5-minutes, and have the name of the agency, your full name, and Net wpm.
*Bilingual preferred
Application submitted without the required attachments will NOT BE ACCEPTED and will not be allowed to test.
Current LESD Employees: To apply please submit a reassignment request form via laserfiche, high school diploma or equivalent, resume, and a 5-minute typing certificate verifying 45 net wpm or better dated within 12 months by the closing date and time. Substitutes must apply on Edjoin.
Testing requirements: All applicants must take and pass a multiple choice (scantron) test with a passing score of 70% or better. You will be notified of the testing details after you submit your application. NOTE: If you believe you have already taken/passed this test, please email me bu 8/14 so I may confirm your score.
