- Oversee and coordinate comprehensive audit inspections of in-process operations, procedures, and finished goods by managing inspection teams and ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings, and established procedures.
- Lead the approval and rejection process for raw materials by establishing quality standards, training inspectors on criteria, and making final determinations on borderline cases.
- Manage documentation systems and ensure accuracy of inspection reports, logs, and quality records while implementing data analysis for trend identification and continuous improvement.
- Direct root cause analysis investigations and supervise the implementation of corrective and preventive actions, coordinating with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Establish and maintain systems for tracking, dispositioning, and logging rejected materials while ensuring proper segregation and documentation of non-conforming products.
- Supervise calibration programs for measuring equipment including rulers, calipers, gauges, and micrometers, ensuring measurement accuracy and traceability throughout the department.
- Monitor production operations across multiple lines, analyze quality metrics, and recommend process adjustments while coordinating with production management to optimize quality outcomes.
- Review and approve quality control reports, ensure proper material receiving documentation, and maintain oversight of material condition assessments and storage protocols.
- Enforce safety and health standards within the quality department by conducting safety meetings, ensuring compliance with procedures, and investigating quality-related safety incidents.
- Lead the development, review, and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while ensuring team training and adherence to updated procedures.
- Manage, train, and evaluate quality control inspector performance while providing technical guidance and ensuring consistent application of quality standards across the team.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and procurement to resolve quality issues, implement improvements, and maintain customer satisfaction standards.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or related technical field preferred.
- 3-5 years of quality control or quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 years of supervisory or lead experience managing quality control personnel.
- Experience with inspection techniques, measuring instruments, and quality control methodologies.
- Experience with reading engineering drawings, measuring tools and proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Lift up to 45lbs.
- Must be Fluent in English and Spanish.
