Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Join our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), where you'll help individuals achieve their goals and thrive in their communities. DSP's provide personalized care, promote independence, and ensure a safe, supportive environment. Key responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, medication administration, transportation, and documentation of progress.

DSP Schedule, Location, Pay:

• Tuesday 10am-4pm
• Thursday 10am-4pm
• Friday 10am-6pm

Location: Minnetonka, MN

Rate of Pay: $20.00/hr

**Staff can expect to work between the hours listed above, but will only work a total of 10-15 hrs/wk. This individual is very independent and she needs assistance with grocery shopping, transportation into the community & light-heavy housekeeping (laundry, vacuuming, taking out the garbage, sweeping/mopping, etc.).

Requirements

What You Bring as a DSP:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of relevant work experience
• Driver's License, car insurance, reliable vehicle for work purposes
• Ability to read, write and speak English at a level that meets the performance requirements; or must be able to communicate in the language spoken by the individual at a level that meets the performance requirements; whichever is deemed more important by the company
• Ability to meet licensing requirements of the state and county
• Lifting/transferring requirements vary based on assigned caseload. Ability to lift 75 pounds and transfer individuals as needed
• May be exposed to animals, including but not limited to dogs, cats, pet rodents, birds or pet reptiles
