Join our Health and Wellbeing Employment Team as a Team Leader.
Within this post you will work as part of a dynamic team who are responsible for promoting effective and efficient approaches to improving the health and wellbeing, and the subsequent move into sustainable employment for programme participants. You’ll provide support and leadership to a team of Wellbeing Employment Coaches to ensure the effective delivery of services to support mainstream provision.
You’ll create and manage resource plans and activity schedules to ensure that appropriately skilled Wellbeing Employment Coaches are available to deliver the range of services. Your team will be leading Wellbeing sessions, delivering 1:1 customer support, assisting with job searching, preparation for interviews, and in work support. You’ll drive high achievement of all performance and quality targets and ensure the service meets the needs of the participating individuals and use management information to identify opportunities to improve a range of performance and quality metrics whilst using excellent communication skills to engage colleagues/teams with potential changes to approach/process.

Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, motivate and coach a team of Wellbeing Employment Coaches in a high-performance culture in line with Pluss CIC’s vision and values, ensuring performance targets are met.
- Create and manage resource plans and activity schedules to ensure that appropriately skilled Wellbeing Coaches are available to deliver the range of services. Your team will be leading Wellbeing sessions, delivering 1:1 customer support, facilitating drop ins and voluntary activity for customers.
- Ensure that business communications are implemented, understood and delivered.
- Support Wellbeing Employment Coaches to ensure that all Customer Service Standards are achieved.
- Take a lead in the coordination of training, development and recruitment activity across the Team.
- Manage staff, undertaking appraisals, quality checks and managing employee performance.
- Inform Wellbeing Coaches regular training and resource needs analysis to ensure delivery staff are appropriately equipped to consistently perform at high levels, acting upon and presenting any requirements to senior management.
- Provide support and supervision to deliver caseload reviews via observations in a meaningful and consistent manner
- Manage the delivery of several projects within the Health and Wellbeing Employment Support programme.
- Analyse and interpret management information to identify areas of improvement and plan/execute targeted improvement activity, including coaching and mentoring colleagues.
- Identify best practice and ensure it is shared and embedded across all delivery teams, targeting specific teams for greatest focus, in consultation with line management.
- Regularly report on performance in accordance with Pluss CIC requirements.
- Work collaboratively with other managers and teams within Pluss CIC/Seetec to drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate innovation through identification and piloting of new ways of working to enhance the customer experience
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Demonstrate a specialist knowledge of Health and Wellbeing services.
- Experience of working in a high performing quality Health Team
- Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards
Desirable
- Experience of successful delivery of health and wellbeing programmes
- Experience in a supervisory role
- Understanding of the employability industry & the challenges faced in the employment market for long term unemployed people and those with health conditions
- Full driving licence
