Dynamic Manufacturing is hiring a Machine Shop Supervisor to join our growing team! Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Machine Shop Supervisor ensures the production is met and is responsible for a team(s), consisting of members with different skill sets focused on the defect-free, on time delivery of our product in an efficient and effective manner.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Coach Safety, Quality and Productivity to ensure objectives are met through following standardized work
- Communicates and enforces company work rules and policies.
- Optimize throughput in accordance with budgets and cost objectives
- Provide leadership and training of employees within departments to ensure accurate and timeliness of work.
- Work closely with the Team Leader to identify training needs and opportunities.
- Promote a safe working environment; and developing personal growth opportunities for employees.
- Monitor performance of hourly personnel and provide counseling, coaching, or discipline where appropriate while utilizing HR software solution.
- Provide key input for performance appraisals and compensation evaluations
- Maintain time and attendance records and monitor staffing levels to meet the daily work requirements
- Determine production bottlenecks and inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to identify & document any project challenges and opportunities.
- Coordinates with the maintenance, engineering, and metrology departments to maintain equipment and utilities in proper working condition and monitors to assure equipment is utilized in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct BBS (Behavior Based Safety), observations of employees to identify unsafe practices and areas of risk.
- Work closely with the Quality team to identify corrective actions for defects
- Coordinate with the SCCS team and monitor inventory and production schedules, checks logs, and receives incoming materials.
- Plan and assign jobs based on production priorities, machine availability, and skill level.
- Ensure all parts are produced according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and programming to improve processes, reduce cycle times, and optimize tool paths.
- Participate in tooling selection, fixture design, and setup optimization
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of CNC machinists, operators, and support staff
- Familiarity with GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision measurement tools
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven ability to train other employees.
- Ability to prioritize work assignments.
- Organized and detail oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and shop management software (ERP/MES systems preferred)
- Working knowledge of CAD/CAM systems (e.g., Mastercam, Autodesk Inventor) (Preferred)
- Good command of the English language (Spanish bi-lingual is a plus!)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 and its requirements. (Preferred)
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies (Preferred)
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in a CNC machining environment, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
