What You’ll Get to Do

The Paint Line Helper is focused on preparing metal, pre-treating metal, and assisting the painter and reports to the Paint Line Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who has strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and can work independently.  A vital member of the Paint Line, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Prepare metal for pre-treatment, inspecting, and racking
• Hang metal on conveyor for painting
• Remove metal from conveyor, inspect, verify rack count, and tag product
• Assist painter as required; loading powder, cleaning booth
• Pre-treat (chemical pre-wash) metal for painting
• Uses required PPE
• Assists department with other production needs as required
