Shifts: Full-Time Opening - M thru F plus emergency on-call coverage
Wage: $24-29/Hourly
In this position you will assist in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment of a senior living community.
Duties include:
- Perform all duties concerned with electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, painting, floor care, and various equipment.
- Perform assigned housekeeping duties including trash removal, mopping, cleaning, etc. in accordance with facility policy.
- Address and correct work orders to maintain building and equipment operation.
- Assist in the purchasing of supplies and equipment for departmental operation, may require vehicle operation.
- Assist in the supervision of outside contractor services.
- Assist in the inspection of building, equipment, and grounds on a regular basis to ensure compliance with codes and regulations and to maintain proper operation.
Required Qualification:
- Class C Boiler Operator’s License or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- At least 1 year of experience maintenance in a multi-unit apartment or senior living community.
- Current Driver’s License (in good standing)
- High School Diploma or equivalent, formal vocational/technical degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in health care setting is preferred.
