What you will be doing:
In this role, you will oversee the Department of Health’s Finance and Management Services functions, ensuring efficient operations. You will provide direct supervision to key administrative personnel and serve as the primary advisor on department-wide policies, procedures, and fiscal strategies.

Position Duties

Positions in the partially exempt service are exempt from the recruitment processes required by AS 39.25.150 (3)-(10).

The partially exempt service is established by statute and is subject to the state's classification and pay plans. Employees appointed to partially exempt positions are exempt from the usual recruitment process and serve at the discretion of the appointing authority. Minimum Qualifications

  1. Three (3) professional references, whom we may contact by phone, are required. One (1) of these references must be your current or most recent supervisor, if not already provided in the application.
