QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should hold an Associate’s degree and be fluent in sign language. This position requires NH certification as an educational interpreter or eligibility with completion of an educational interpreter training/ preparation program or hold RID/NAD licensure of at least level III or receive a passing grade on the EIPA assessment.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Sign language interpreter is responsible for helping deaf or hearing impaired students to interpret what is being said and able to communicate with students. Responsibilities include interpreting and supporting the student in the resource room and general education classes.
