Description
Kam-Way Express Inc is hiring a detail oriented individual to join their accounting team. This is a dynamic role that requires someone capable of multitasking, customer relations and time management. The role will be focused on accurately processing POD’s, billing Customers and paying Carriers. This position is based in our office in Spokane, WA. This is NOT a remote position.
What your day looks like:
- Process invoices related to accounts payable.
- Process Proof of delivery in preparation for invoicing.
- Apply deposits, reconcile bank statements.
- Audits and processes driver trip packet verifying expenses for drivers in preparation for driver payroll.
- Maintain and audit vehicle maintenance records monthly.
- Reconcile and audit fuel /EFS/advance reporting.
- Month end closing accounting procedures in relation to PR/AP/AR/GL.
- Process quarterly reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
More about you:
- Minimum High Scholl diploma or equivalent work experience
- Strong problem solving skills
- Customer Service experience in a similar capacity is preferred
- 2-3 years of work experience in accounting is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook is strongly encouraged
