What’s the Opportunity?
IMS is currently seeking an Account Executive, to work with a team to execute our key client projects and promotions. This role is on-site in Louisville and will report to the Sr. Account Manager. This associate requires a strong attention to detail, ability to collaborate across teams in account, account operations and client services. The person will have the ability to multitask in actioning key activities and aid in achieving key deliverables in support of client campaigns and initiatives. This role will collaborate both internally and externally with key IMS counterparts as well as client and agency partners. This is a fast-paced, challenging work environment with room to grow.
Responsibilities:
- Build credible relationships and act as key liaison between Client, Agencies, and IMS.
- Strategic thought leadership and responsive to client requests. Provide thoughtful, concise, well-written, consistent communication.
- Manage client deliverables from Client, Agency partners, and IMS counterparts as directed by Associate Account Directors.
- Deliver superior service to the clients.
- Manage Client expectations and goals, reworking unreasonable demands into positive achievable outputs.
- Distinctive problem-solving and strategic structuring skills, with the ability to synthesize data and information into useful formats and develop actionable insights supporting the proposal and value proposition.
- Understand client needs in the marketplace and partner with key stakeholders to proactively provide relevant IMS service offerings.
- Use hands-on approach to deliver customer focused resolution for issues or concerns.
- Assist account manager with program set up requirements and management of program elements in both IMS operating systems as well as web-based marketing platforms.
- Execute activities that support business needs to adhere to project timelines and budgets across all projects
- Create, manage, and analyze results of survey data to inform strategic decision making.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, independently, and efficiently.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and prepare a point of view for path forward.
- Assist with and facilitate content for regular client status meetings.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by identifying issues and taking proactive actions.
- Assist in various special projects assigned by Account Director.
The Skills and Experience You Have
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a proven history of career progression or personal advancement.
- Preferably 2-4 years of account experience in a marketing capacity.
- Experience working with alch/bev accounts is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools, particularly PowerPoint, and able to learn and adapt to new software formats.
- Proven communications skills and track record of successful client management and relationships.
- Excellent written and oral interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both internally and externally.
- Critical thinking, strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and requests.
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor under pressure.
- Some travel may be required.
