Hybrid Certificated Substitute Teacher Applicant Pool at Martinez Unified School District

At the regular scheduled meeting of October 23, 2023, the Martinez Unified School District Board of Education approved the request to increase daily rates for certificated substitute teachers permanently.

Must have a valid California Teaching Credential or a 30 Day Substitute Credential (District will assist with application for newly qualified applicants) On Call employment, various shifts and locations available Prior experience desirable NOTE: Please make sure you provide email addresses for your references

$220 - daily rate / $250 - long term rate, $240 - SDC daily rate / $270 - SDC long term rate

All employees must sign an oath of allegiance to the constitution of the State of California and the United States, must be of good moral character, must obtain evidence of a negative TB test. And will be required to provide evidence of citizenship or appropriate immigration status. CA law requires public educational employees to be fingerprinted for the purpose of a confidential background investigation at the time of employment, whether or not the employee has previously been fingerprinted.
