Hybrid Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction at Cranford Public Schools

NJ Principal certificate, with School Administrator certificate preferred

Experience with NJDOE-approved evaluative models, with Danielson & Stronge preferred

Proficiency in the application of technology to teaching & learning

Central office and administrative experience (either as a supervisor or a principal), along with excellent communication skills characterized by sensitivity and transparency. 

Proficient in the use of student performance data to inform curricular and pedagogical efforts, and shall have the leadership skills to assist the staff, superintendent, and Board in achieving their goals. 

Lead professional dialogue to strengthen and sustain an atmosphere of mutual respect and zeal for educational advancement throughout the district.

Must be a “practical visionary,” experienced enough to accomplish tasks collegially with school and subject area administrators, but able to develop a vision for teaching and learning that will take the district to new heights.
