Hybrid Life Enrichment Director at Warm Beach Senior Community

Warm Beach Senior Community is located in south Stanwood and is a non-profit ministry of the Free Methodist Church with 58 years of service to the elderly and the community. Our community was established with the mission "to provide seniors with a vibrant, missional and purposeful lifestyle through every phase of their golden years."

We are looking for a Life Enrichment Director to join our team!

The Life enrichment director provides for an ongoing program of activities designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and the physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being of each resident. Provides activities meaningful to the residents at various times throughout every day based on each resident's need and preference.

Qualifications:

• Experience in planning, organizing, and executing a varied schedule of life enrichment opportunities for all levels of seniors from those who are very active to those with cognitive impairments resulting from Alzheimer’s and related dementias
• Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner
• Ability to motivate, encourage residents; knowledge of how to adapt life skills to the cognitive and functional ability of each resident
• Excellent organization and effective verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • Valid driver's license
  • CPR, First Aid certification

*Tues-Sat, day shift, 40 hours a week
