As Manager, Channel Marketing, you’ll lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention—primarily through B2B channels. You’ll oversee go-to-market (GTM) campaigns for state, product, and technology launches, manage internal and external marketing resources, and ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
What does a MANAGER, CHANNEL MARKETING at GAINSCO do?
- Lead the creation and execution of outcome-driven marketing and communication initiatives.
- Develop GTM strategies for new state entries, product rollouts, and technology enhancements.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts including SEO, SEM, email, social media, and content marketing.
- Manage internal and external marketing resources, including direct reports, contractors, and vendors.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership to align marketing strategies with business goals and agent engagement.
- Maintain a marketing calendar and ensure timely delivery of campaigns and initiatives.
- Use data and analytics to measure campaign performance and optimize future efforts.
- Uphold and evolve GAINSCO’s brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all channels.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
- Foster a collaborative, creative, and inclusive team culture.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across departments to support company-wide initiatives.
- Manage staffing needs, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- Communicate organizational goals and ensure alignment across the team.
- Provide ongoing education and development to keep the team current with industry trends and best practices.
What is required?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferred focus in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
Experience:
- 8+ years of progressive marketing experience in a corporate environment.
- 6+ years of experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies.
- 4+ years of experience managing direct reports and/or external marketing resources.
- Experience in P&C insurance or personal auto (B2B and B2C) preferred.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Asana, Pardot and Salesforce Sales Cloud preferred.
- Proven success in leading B2B marketing campaigns that drive growth and engagement.
- Deep experience in email marketing and digital communications.
- Strong understanding of marketing operations, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration.
