Job Summary:Marination
The team member is responsible performing all duties within the Marination department to fill customer orders. Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are being produced by immediately and safety and/or quality concerns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following; other duties may be assigned
- Dumping – Lift large trays of product weighing up to 40 pounds and carry trays to loaders
- Sorting/Staging – Places product in trays on the conveyor belt, removing any defective products to be placed in re-work
- Grading/Inspecting – Inspect all trays to make sure they are sealed and labeled correctly
Qualifications and Demands:
- Standing in place and working within a cold environment for 8+ hours
- Repetitively lifting 40 pounds (on occasion)
- Work in areas with loud noises (due to machines being in operation)
- Strong attention to detail
- Required to wear all appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while on the production floor
- Must have reliable transportation
- When necessary, willing to work in department(s) outside of your own to meet order requirements
- If necessary, willing to work overtime to meet order requirements
Education and Experience (Due to the high volume of applicants, only those who meet the minimum qualifications will be selected for interviews):
- Previous experience is preferred, but not required for this position.
- No formal education is required
