This entry level Human Resources position will be responsible for both administrative and Human Resources Generalist duties. This is an opportunity to put what you learned at school into practice while allowing you to gain experience in many different areas of Human Resources.
Human Resources Generalist Duties:
Staffing and Hiring - Facilitate the recruitment of open positions including screening, interviewing and extending offers.
Update monthly HR KPIs.
Facilitate the Summer Internship Program
Participate in Training and Development efforts including for both policy changes as well as soft skills
On-boarding new employees and making sure they get off to a good start.
Register the company and attend career fairs.
Create career fair handout / company marketing materials.
Conduct exit interviews with employees leaving the company.
Gather data and create HR reports.
Lead the activities committee with planning, scheduling and conducting company events.
Create / update TRAM pages on social media sites such as: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Glassdoor, etc.
Post company news to social media sites to keep TRAM on people’s feeds.
Other HR duties as needed within the department.
Administrative Duties:
Receive, sort and distribute incoming shipments.
Assist departments with their incoming and outgoing domestic and international shipments.
Process weekly and monthly invoices.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills / Experience Desired
Bachelor’s degree or working on bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Strong interest in getting experience in Human Resources.
Effective organizational skills.
Person who takes ownership of tasks and meets timelines.
Solid MS Office computer skills.
Effective verbal and written communications skills.
Positive attitude.
