- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy in reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Manage banking relationships and ensure efficient use of credit facilities, including executing draws and paydowns on lines of credit.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to leadership related to cash management, treasury risk, and working capital optimization.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP standards, and company financial policies.
- Play a lead role in the financial integration of newly acquired firms, aligning systems and procedures with corporate standards.
- Assist with external audits, including preparing schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and supporting SOX/internal audit readiness if applicable.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and system improvements.
- Serve as a mentor and technical resource to junior accounting staff.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, treasury, or financial operations; prior experience as a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or Treasury Manager a plus.
- Deep understanding of cash management principles, financial controls, and corporate treasury best practices.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (Deltek Vantagepoint highly preferred).
- Prior experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) or project-based consulting industry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and audit processes is a plus.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to travel to support acquisition integrations or audits.
