As the Manager, Pricing Analytics, you'll be responsible for leading the development, maintenance, and execution of pricing strategies. This role blends data analytics, market research & pricing capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration to drive pricing decisions across Casey’s Grocery & General Merchandise and Prepared Food and Dispensed Beverage categories.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead Strategic Pricing Analysis: Drive strategic and tactical pricing decisions by analyzing performance metrics, customer behavior, and market dynamics to support category and enterprise goals.
- Lead Scenario Modeling & Recommendations: Develop, influence, and maintain pricing segmentation strategies based on guest behavior, competitive positioning, store traffic patterns, and product category dynamics. Ability to assess financial and operational impacts, and present actionable recommendations to Category Managers and senior leadership.
- Manage Price Optimization Capability & Direction: Own the relationship, configuration, and continuous improvement of pricing optimization capability.
- Market & Trend Analysis: Monitor internal and external data sources to stay ahead of market trends, economic shifts, and competitor pricing strategies. Provide proactive analytical support for vendor negotiations, promotional planning, space optimization, and new product/program development.
- Leadership Responsibilities:
- Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing pricing team. Oversee performance management, career development, and foster a culture aligned with Casey’s values.
- Partner with internal data & analytics and IT teams to enhance pricing capabilities, insights & data sources available, and effective processes.
Compensation:
Starting pay range: $113,000 - $157,300. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance and an annual equity grant in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
