The Human Resources Coordinator provides the best possible administrative and technical assistance in support of the human resources function. Assists the Director of Human Resources in the day-to-day operations of the department. Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.

· Coordinate the employment process, to include posting jobs, tracking, screening and scheduling interviews. Processing & tracking background checks and drug screens, conducting new employee orientation, and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all required new employee paperwork. Maintain employee files.
*Process Bi-Weekly Payroll
· Ensure new employees complete all benefit paperwork and process all completed paperwork according to procedures. Assist in annual Benefit Open Enrollment process.
*Work closely with the HR Director regarding employee related issues.
· Track and submit general liability and Worker’s Compensation claims. Complete and process disability insurance paperwork.
· Prepare job postings, letters, memos, correspondence, charts, graphs, etc., for the department and General Manager, as needed. Schedule meetings, notifying attendees, and coordinating locations, etc.
· Lead employee recognition programs and community service events
· Complete, file and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, for Employment files.
· Participate in Hotel Brand Training sessions and provide support to rollout and monitor programs.
Requirements:
· 2+ years of Human Resources experience.
· Hospitality experience desired
-Payroll experience strongly desired.
-Bi-lingual helpful

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full time position. Weekdays, Monday through Friday.
Hourly position $25.00 an hour
