Hybrid Packaging Technician - Day Shift at Concorde Battery Corporation

Concorde Battery Georgia Corporation is hiring for the position of Packaging Technician in our Shipping and Receiving Department. Successful candidate will perform daily shipping and receiving duties. The candidate will execute work within established procedures and processes under both verbal and written instructions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Shipping and Receiving candidate to perform various tasks. Must be capable of:

• Following oral and/or written instructions
• Standing for long periods of time
• Lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching, carrying, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
• Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Comply with all safety requirements
• Maintain a clean work area and follow company hygiene guidelines
• Use small hand tools
• Communicate to supervisor when detecting defective materials
• Reading numbers and letters
• Working with and around hazardous materials
• Work in hot and cold temperatures
• Maintaining an accurate parts inventory
• Final assembly of batteries before shipment
• Packaging product before shipment
• Work with shipping and receiving supervisor on customer delivery dates

Education and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-5 years in a final assembly position
• Read, write, and speak English
• Punctual and reliable
• Must complete pre-employment physical/drug screen

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday; 6:00am - 2:30pm
