Job Description:This is an exciting time to join Valeo Foods UK. We’ve recently introduced a brand-new Employee Relations function, and we’re looking for someone who wants to shape it for the future.
As our Employee Relations Manager, you’ll lead a team of five passionate ER Advisors, helping us set the standard for how we support, develop, and engage our people across the UK. You’ll be the go-to expert for senior leaders, ensuring that our approach to employee relations is fair, consistent, and aligned to our values.
This isn’t a role where you’ll just keep the lights on – you’ll have the freedom to bring ideas, lead projects, and embed best practice that really makes a difference. You’ll also have the chance to work closely with our HR Business Partners and L&D team to build capability across the business, making sure managers feel confident and supported in every situation.
We know that employee relations is about more than policies and procedures – it’s about building trust, solving problems, and helping people thrive. That’s why we’re looking for someone who is approachable, confident in navigating complex issues, and skilled at building strong relationships at every level.
This is a hybrid role with some UK travel, so you’ll spend time both with your team and across our sites, getting to know our people and understanding our business.
Qualifications:In-depth experience handling complex ER issues and advising senior leaders
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
A collaborative, coaching style that helps your team grow and succeed
The ability to influence, problem-solve, and drive change with confidence
If you’re ready to take ownership, shape a brand-new function, and make a real impact in a fast-paced, growing business, we’d love to hear from you.
