Sales Manager – Asia Pacific

SUMMARY 

Plasma-Therm is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager – Asia Pacific to accelerate growth and expand market share for our industry-leading plasma processing equipment and services. In this high-impact role, you will develop and execute strategic sales plans, manage regional representatives and agents, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers to position Plasma-Therm as the partner of choice across the Asia Pacific semiconductor market.


WHAT YOU’LL DO – KEY IMPACT AREAS

  • Deliver Results – Drive revenue growth and achieve annual sales targets by creating and executing strategic sales plans across the Asia Pacific region. 
  • Lead & Motivate – Manage, guide, and inspire regional representatives and agents to maximize performance and customer satisfaction. 
  • Expand Market Presence – Identify and capture new business opportunities, develop go-to-market strategies, and increase share of wallet within existing accounts. 
  • Strengthen Customer Relationships – Build trusted partnerships with key stakeholders and conduct high-level meetings to close business-critical opportunities. 
  • Competitive Market Insights – Analyze market trends and competitors (SWOT analysis) to provide actionable insights and enhance Plasma-Therm’s market position. 
  • Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with the Regional Service Manager and Inside Sales to ensure seamless customer support and successful project execution. 
  • Data-Driven Sales Management – Maintain accurate and up-to-date account and pipeline information in Salesforce.com to ensure visibility and alignment. 
Requirements

 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR – QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven Sales Success – Minimum 6 years of capital equipment sales experience in the semiconductor industry, with a track record of achieving or exceeding revenue goals. 
  • Technical Knowledge – Strong understanding of plasma process applications and ability to discuss technical requirements with customers. 
  • Excellent Communication Skills – Fluent in Chinese and English; additional Asia Pacific languages a plus. 
  • Strong Business Acumen – Strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business. 
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Asia Pacific region.
