The Principal UX Designer serves as a visionary and strategic leader, guiding the user experience design for a next-generation Infor OS platform. This role demands extensive experience in complex enterprise systems, a strong aptitude for solving intricate user problems, and the ability to influence product direction at a strategic level.Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers, the Principal UX Designer is responsible for crafting intuitive, scalable, and user-centered experiences that enable businesses to manage their operations with greater efficiency.Key Responsibilities Lead UX Strategy: Define and drive the UX vision and strategy for ERP modules (e.g., finance, supply chain, HR, manufacturing). Design Leadership: Mentor and guide other designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and collaboration. User Research & Insights: Partner with UX researchers to understand user needs, workflows, and pain points in complex enterprise environments. End-to-End Design: Own the design process from discovery to delivery, including wireframes, prototypes, interaction models, and high-fidelity UI. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals. Design Systems: Contribute to and evolve the enterprise design system to ensure consistency and scalability across the ERP suite. Advocate for the User: Champion user-centered design principles and accessibility standards across the organization.Qualifications 10+ years of experience in UX design, with at least 3 years in a lead or principal role. Proven experience designing for complex enterprise or ERP systems. Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design thinking and execution. Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. Deep understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and information architecture. Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience).
