Main Purpose:
The successful candidate will support the management of bank accounts across all Impala Group entities worldwide, acting as a key liaison between internal teams and financial institutions to ensure efficient and compliant account administration.To handle end-to-end process from liaising with bank till the account set-up or removal from internal systems and e-banking platforms. Timely receipt and response to incoming queries; providing company data and details in a timely manner, as well as the management of an online electronic database (to which external parties can be granted secure access) through which corporate documentation and data can be securely shared.

Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ownership of the administration and management of all Bank Account requests from internal departments.
- Liaising with and supporting internal group functions (including Banking Ops and operational treasury) as well as Banks inbound KYC enquiries.
- Handling documentation for account opening / closing / update requests from banks and ensuring the completeness by collating signatures accordingly
- Responding to KYC requests from Banks by ensuring the completeness and collating signatures accordingly
- Maintenance and updating secure online documentation database
- Maintaining accurate and proper records and leading all aspects of document and record management and other administrative processes
- Maintaining and updating Treasury Management Systems, ensuring information is received in a timely manner.
- Assist in the automatization of payments and reporting via connectivity through SWIFT network.
- Regulations are in constant evolution, banks and commercial counterparties, globally, have to adjust periodically their documents accordingly. Banks must always have current account holder information to align with laws,
- especially anti-money laundering regulations. This is a tedious and time-consuming process, requiring ‘think out of the box’ demeanour.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 1 to 3 years of significant work experience in a similar role involved in KYC functions, gained ideally with a financial institution, bank or other large multinational company or organisation.
- Familiarity with the principles and background of global anti- money-laundering regulations and KYC compliance, as well as standard requirements and the importance of compliance in the global regulatory environment
- Proven track record to work in a fast-paced commercial environment, ideally in a global environment with colleagues based worldwide.
- Being respectful for confidential information
- Ability to deal with timing pressure
- Ability to work independently and to self-manage a full workload of changing priorities.
- A practical, ‘Can do’ attitude and ability to produce quick solutions is essential.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken, is required; Spanish is a plus but not essential
- Familiarity with online applications and databases is desirable but not crucial
- Familiarity with standard MS Office computer software and using online resources is needed
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are meaningful
