Job Title: Controls Service Engineer

Location: Bangalore, KA

Qualifications:

• Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Ability to handle mechanical aspects as well, demonstrating double competency.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with AWS, ASRS systems, automated conveyor systems, and AMC/O&M services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Annual Maintenance Contract services, including monthly, quarterly, biannual, annual, on-call, and on-site support.
• Conduct AMC services alongside the Bastian Service Technician at customer locations.
• Lead a team of 7-8 technicians, ensuring safe operation, fault troubleshooting, and maintenance of ASRS systems in compliance with OEM standards.
• Develop and manage the annual AMC service schedule, planning for on-site customer locations.
• Handle AMC reporting and coordinate with customers, the Bastian Reporting Manager, and the Bastian Spare Parts Division for spare parts requirements, ensuring smooth and trouble-free operation of Bastian systems.
• Provide stop-gap coverage for O&M controls engineers on leave for more than 6 days across PAN India O&M locations until the original resource returns.
• Troubleshoot and maintain knowledge of PLCs, Drives, HMIs, and software, including Siemens TIA Portal.
• Oversee site O&M activities, coordinating with internal departments, vendors, and suppliers to resolve major issues and breakdowns.
• Prepare various AMC reports, including RCA, Why/Why analyses, and SOPs.
• Manage travel arrangements for AMC services and liaise with BK accounts for associated costs.
• Enter timesheets for self and AMC staff.
