Hybrid Retail Finance Manager, Business Partnering at Heathrow Airport Limited

Heathrow’s retail business sits at the heart of its commercial success, generating £435 million in revenue in 2024 across 58,600 square metres of retail and food & beverage space. 

As Finance Manager for Retail within the Finance Business Partnering team, you’ll lead the financial strategy for this high-performing function — partnering directly with the Retail Director and senior stakeholders to shape commercial decisions, drive performance, and unlock growth across retail and food & beverage outlets, as well as other services including advertising, VIP and fast track. 

• Acting as a strategic partner to the Retail Director and senior leadership team, aligning financial planning with business strategy and operational priorities
• Providing insightful advice to support investment decisions, commercial initiatives and growth opportunities
• Driving the strategic budgeting and long-term planning process, securing buy in from stakeholders, and ensuring it reflects business realities and future ambition  
• Managing financial performance by identifying risks and opportunities, and driving actions to maximise value
• Reporting financial performance and providing management insight on results and implications for the outlook  
• Managing and developing 2 Finance Analysts 

• Fully Qualified Accountant, or Part Qualified with extensive QBE experience  
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels and build trusted relationships
• A commercial mindset, with experience in a commercially focused finance role and a track record of driving business performance
• Proven experience supporting investment appraisals and developing robust business cases
• Confidence with large data sets, advanced analytics or data science techniques to enhance strategic decision making would be advantageous
