Hybrid Membrane Technician (m/f/d) (Livingston, SCT, GB, EH54 5GG) at Kurita Water Industries Ltd.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

•    A physically demanding role requiring the handling of different types of Reverse Osmosis and Ultrafiltration/Microfiltration membranes for inspection and repair.
•    Operation of systems required for testing, cleaning, and repairing water membranes. 
•    Recording and inputting of data. 
•    Liaising with separate teams and assisting in operations. 
•    Assembly and disassembly of piping equipment. 
•    Reporting on project and work progression. 
•    Packing and handling of chemicals.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

•    Experience of working in a physically demanding role.
•    Ability to collect and input data correctly and accurately with the use of MS Excel.
•    Good situational awareness and timekeeping.
•    Ability to use hand tools would be advantageous.
•    Experience within a laboratory environment would be advantageous.

PREFERRED PERSONAL SKILLS

•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Team player with the ability to work using own initiative. 
•    Able to understand and follow corporate company processes and procedures.
•    Qualified forklift driver or willingness to complete training. 
•    Experience in warehouse management would be advantageous.
•    Experience and proficiency using Microsoft packages i.e., Excel, Word, Teams
•    Training will be provided to the correct candidate.
