Join Our Contaminated Land Team – Queensland

We’re looking for a Principal Contaminated Land Specialist to join our QLD team (Brisbane or regional hub). You’ll take the lead on contaminated land investigations, site remediation, and environmental risk strategy — working closely with our EPA-accredited Site Auditor and national CLM team.
 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading contaminated land investigations (PSIs, DSIs, RAPs, validation)

• Managing field programs, contractors, and junior staff

• Overseeing data interpretation, reporting and recommendations

• Liaising with clients, auditors, regulators and internal teams

• Supporting regulatory approvals and stakeholder engagement

• Developing proposals and contributing to business development

• Mentoring junior consultants and building technical capability
   

What You’ll Need

• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology or related field

• 15+ years of experience in contaminated land consulting in Australia

• Strong working knowledge of QLD and national legislation (EP Act, NEPM)

• Excellent writing, reporting and client communication skills

• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to complex sites

• Desire to lead, mentor, and grow your technical influence
